Cleaning out your parent's attic and just found some boxes full of memories?
Many of the Center's most prized resources have come from people whose father (or mother, or uncle, ...) was a Korean War veteran. As more and more veterans are passing away or moving into a retirement or nursing homes, what happens to the boxes of carefully saved youthful memories of serving in the Korean conflict? Let those personal histories live on!
The Center for the Study of the Korean War endeavors to collect, preserve and make available for research the memories, through documents, artifacts, and media, of the people who participated in and were affected by the Korean War. If you have personal materials from the Korean War – documents, photos, letters, maps, souvenirs – that will help preserved and honor the memories of those veterans, please contact us to see how they can be contributed to the Center.
